10 Websites That Pay Between 5$ To 100$ For Writing Lists

10 Websites That Pay Between 5$ To 100$ For Writing Lists

Total Shares 41
This article emerged as a result of my fruitless attempt to find a list presenting website (preferably listing websites) that offer small payment in exchange of a list. Now, an article for 5$ may appear selling yourself cheap to some freelancers but writers like myself, who are students and live in countries where dollars are of high value, 5$ isn’t cheap, its humble money.
Read the rules carefully and remember that the sites have the right to reject any submitted article. It is recommended that you visit the website for any recent changes in the rules or guidelines.

7. LISTVERSE.COM
How much do they shell out? $100
Websites That Pay
I’ve noticed some writers credited this site as the original top 10 list site. Listverse is said to be responsible for the online top-ten-list phenomena. Therefore understandably, it’s hugely popular (over 15 million viewers per month) and calls for tough competition. So far 3 of my lists have been rejected (Listverse is known for high on rejection). They call for uniqueness and apparently there isn’t a single unique idea left that hasn’t been already posted. At present I can observe a trend of innovative lists like ’10 Comic Book Heroes Who Could Theoretically Exist’ or ’10 Reasons Why Our Universe is a Vital Reality.’
Think hard. Think 100$. Be persistent. I will too.
Read the rules here (listverse.com/write-get-paid/) and download the ‘Authors Guide’ (pdf) from this page (listverse.com/submit-a-list/).
8. TOPTENZ.NET
How much do they shell out? $50
Websites That Pay
Somewhat like Listverse but on comparing I’ve noticed that Toptez posts different kind of top 10 lists. Toptez lists are mostly factual and less interpretative. I don’t know if that’s a policy of choice or if they simply get those kind of submissions. Check out the kind of lists posted on the website before you start writing.
They have quite a page full of guidelines you can to take a look at it here (toptenz.net/sumit-a-top-ten-list).
9. CRACKED.COM

10: KNOWLEDGENUTS.COM
How much do they shell out? 10$
Websites That Pay
Note that this is not a listing website site. Knowledgenuts has been created by the founders of Listverse. It is a sanctum for odd knowledge seekers. One often finds obscure, little-know, highly controversial and surprisingly amusing knowledge enhancing articles backed with links on the site. But this website (like Listverse) has a high rejection statistic. My recommendation would be to observe and follow the kind of articles published and also the style of writing before jumping into the field with MS Word.
