These are the 12 most and least trusted professions in Britain
The most trusted people in the UK, by profession, are nurses.
In a survey of 2,002 people by Opinium, respondents were asked how trustworthy people in certain professions were.
Eighty-six per cent of people said nurses were trustworthy. The second and third most trusted professions were doctors (85 per cent) and teachers (80 per cent) respectively.
The least so were tabloid journalists, who were only trusted by 13 per cent of the public, followed by politicians (16 per cent) and broadsheet journalists (25 per cent).
